## Current public boundary

- The public machine gateway is sandbox-only. Its available actions are free, deterministic, and do not call providers or settle money.
- Public execution requires a project-scoped machine credential. Credential issuance is owner-reviewed; discovery and documentation are public.
- Production machine scopes, live provider calls, and settlement are separate owner-approved capabilities and are not public offers.
- The sandbox receipt proves the request and policy record; it does not prove a live provider transaction or production settlement.
- A2A task execution and a hosted MCP server are not available. REST is the supported public machine protocol.
